Tourism roadshow

A DELEGATION of 17 Irish tourism enterprises, including The BrookLodge & Wells Spa in Aughrim, joined Tourism Ireland recently for the biennial COS roadshow - a threecity trade mission taking in the Scandinavian capitals of Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.

The trade mission which involved a series of B2B workshops and networking with influential Scandinavian tour operators and travel agents provided an excellent platform to showcase Wicklow and Ireland and for the participating Irish tourism companies to sell their product.

Over the course of the three-day mission, face-toface meetings were conducted with about 150 key Scandinavian decisionmakers - to encourage them to introduce the island of Ireland to their programmes for 2014, or to extend the programmes in which Ireland already features.
