Enniskerry area plan extended for a year

THE ENNISKERRY Local Area Plan was extended by one year at Monday’s meeting of Wicklow County Council.

Director of Services Des O’Brien said the council had put the matter on public display and received two submissions, one in support.

The proposal was seconded by Cllr. John Ryan. Cllr. Tommy Cullen said that an adequate reason for the extension hadn’t been given.

Mr. O’Brien said there had been very detailed reasons given and said that there had been virtually no building in Enniskerry since 2009.
