Funding required

SAFETY works may be carried out between Blacklion and Delgany but only if funding is received from the National Transport Authority.

At Monday’s meeting of Wicklow County Council Director of Roads Sean Quirke said while there wasn’t funding in the council’s capital programme for construction and design of improved roads and footpaths the council was in discussions with the National Transport Authority.
