Potential double for Carnew UTD

AVONMORE FC or Rathnew AFC C stand between Carnew United and a potential double.

With the Division 3 South trophy already resting in their trophy cabinet, the Back Alley men moved to within 90 minutes of adding the Division 3A Shield thanks to a victory over Division 3 North title contenders Fassaroe YC.

Goals from Eugene Jordan and John Kavanagh helped Carnew to a 2-1 win over the Bray side, who now turn their attention to their league battle with Rathnew AFC C.
