BRAY WANDERERS were buzzing this week after their superb 1-0 win over Dundalk at the Carlisle Grounds. Unsurprisingly, there wasn’t a hint of trouble from either set of fans, probably for the best considering there was an Olympic boxer nearby.

The players’ goodwill overflowed after the win, as Shane O’Neill, Dean Zambra and Ismahil Akinade all tweeted their delight.

And things got even better for Akinade as he was named goal.com’s League of Ireland player of the week for his performance against the Lilywhites.

And to top off a brilliant few days for the club, they discovered a new fan in the shape of Republic of Ireland international Darren O’Dea. Darren O’Dea: “Quick Q&A! Go for it! ” Aaron Clarke: “favourite league of Ireland team? ” O’Dea: “bray!”
