ALZHEIMER'S TEA DAY

On Thursday 1st May in the Community Centre Newtown 9.30-2p.m. Please come along and bring a friend. GAA Great fun was had by all at the nursery last weekend where the Easter Bunny made a special appearance... the sun was shining and there was a great crowd! The next meeting of the Active Retirement group will be on Wednesday 30th April in the Community Centre Newtownmou­ntkennedy. Come along and join in the fun. HAYDAY FOR A MAYDAY

As part of the Bealtaine Festival 2014 the ARG under the stewardshi­p of Mary Murray are organising an event which will include local school children, music and singing. Starting at 12pm sharp on 7th May TIDY TOWNS

We are meeting at the church in the main street at 7pm Monday evenings. All are very welcome to help in what ever way they can. We ask people to take care in their areas, as we can be judged at any time for the tidy towns competitio­n. NEWTOWN JUNIORS F.C.

We will have a committee meeting on Wednesday 30th April at 6.45pm in the Community Centre. All committee members are requested to attend.

The club sends their best wishes to all the boys and girls from the club who will be making their first Holy Communion next Saturday. Here's hoping the sun shines and everyone has a brilliant day.

Our Members Draw of €300 was won last weekend and the winners were Josh, Ella & Zara Kavanagh. Well done guys. The jackpot goes back to €100 for next week. Thank you to everyone for their continued support.
