ST PATRICK’S

-

Well done to the U12 hurlers who travelled to Wexford last Friday night to take part in the Castletown Indoor Hurling tournament.

The lads were unlucky to lose 3-1 to the hosts in the opening game but followed this up with an excellent 3-1 win over Craanford before drawing 4-4 with Glynn Barntown in what was the game of the night.

Great to see a Wicklow hurling team competing so strongly against its Wexford counterparts. Keep up the good work lads! The panel on the night was Sam Culleton, Rory Hennessy, Bill O’Brien, Matt Gleeson, Billy Joe Connors, Jim Stafford, Tom Phelan, Harry Tobin Kelly, Calum Doyle, Denis O’Brien, Johnno Moorehouse and Fionn Greene. The team is back down in Castletown in two weeks’ time for round 2 of the tournament.

MESSAGE FOR GIRLS HEADING TO MANCHESTER - All those going on Manchester trip are requested to pay the balance on/before 10th March. This should be given to John McGettigan.
