The under-14 camogie team played a friendly against Cuala, Saturday, February 18. A tougher prospect than our last outing, opposing a Dalkey side with a number of strong ball winners.

Nevertheless, we rolled up our sleeves. Catherine McGarry, Kaleigh Broderick and Ellen O’Doherty stood out in the opening half for their tackling and brave spirits.

In the second-half, Bray got more good scores with Aoife Canavan, Ailbhe Whittle and Áine Farrell giving their all. In the end, Cuala won by a goal and a point despite the hectic exchanges of the final 10 minutes. Cluiche an-sásúil a bhí ann.

Foireann: Aoife Canavan, Áine Farrell, Amy Butler, Ailbhe Whittle, Aoibhe Traynor, Catherine McGarry, Ellen O’Doherty, Emma Nesbitt (1-0), Fionnuala Crowley, Jasmine Kennedy, Kaleigh Broderick, Mary-Anne Aherne, Pearl O’Connor, Róisín Murphy, Róisín Benville, Saoirse Canavan, Sarah Lambe (0-3).

Bainisteoir - Brian Lambe.
