The under-8s travelled to Avonmore a played a series of games with 24 goals netted between the teams on the day. It was a magic day for young Jamie Guerin, grandson of the legendary Peter Guerin as he netted a personal haul of eight goals and he was the star man on the day for the Glens in a great all round team display.

The 9s travelled to Carnew on Saturday morning and found the going a bit tough against a very strong Carnew side but everyone played played really well and never gave up.

There was a very happy Glencormac under-10s manager this weekend as Alan Condon was delighted with his teams great win over Arklow where everyone played really well.

The under-11s were at home to Ashford and were very unlucky to finish on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline. They created numerous chances but just could not find the back of the net.

The senior team were at home to Shamrock Celtic on Sunday afternoon and kept up their recent run of good form with a 1-0 win. This was a really tight affair and took something special to break the deadlock which Mark Delahunty provided with a great run and strike which rebounded off the bar and Ben Callaghan followed up to force the ball over the line. Luke Callaghan and Simon Doyle were best on the day in a really good team performance.
