ARKLOW United moved out of the bottom three by overcoming struggling Greystones United 5-1 in their Pat O’Toole Division 2 match at the Woodlands on Sunday.

Alan McBride and Luke Walker both contribute­d doubles for the visitors, with an own goal adding to their tally. Anthony Fermoyle hit the back of the net for Greystones. St. Patrick’s AFC edged out Glencormac United in a seven-goal thriller at Kilcashel, with Andrew Doyle and Paul McCann both bagging braces for the winners and Luke O’Callaghan, Sam Kerr and Simon Doyle replying for the visitors.

Elsewhere Arklow Celtic got the better of St. Fergal’s by the odd goal in nine (see focus match).
