Two in a row for Aidan!
AIDAN LONG of Enniskerry Boxing Club took his second Leinster title in a row in Athy on Sunday.
Aidan boxed superbly to beat Aaron Murphy Browne of Sacre Couer on a 5-0 scorecard.Aidan will go on to compete in the All-Ireland finals.
Enniskerry also had two other boxers competing in Leinster finals over the weekend.
Michael Moorehouse won his semi-final in superb fashion producing his best performance of the season to defeat the reigning Leinster champion Caolan Duffy 5-0.
Unfortunately the final the next day was a step too far for Michael as he was beaten by Willy Boulger on a 3-2 split decision.
Seamus Maughan was also defeated in his final on a split decision.
Both Michael and Seamus should be proud of their silver medals.
The club would like to mention Cian Reynolds and Tom Scales who both joined the club in September and for two lads who are just starting in the sport they did brilliantly to reach Leinster semi finals and lose on split decisions.
Along with Johnny Cawley all six lads did the club proud at a high level.
