Our Last Man Standing competition resumes this weekend and with 115 players left standing the next few weeks are going to be interesting.

We have yet to have one of our previous winners take the title for the second time so will we see one of our previous winners or will we see yet another new champion. It will all be revealed over the coming weeks. Jim Foley, Anthony Earls, Jonathan Lewins, James Nolan Junior and Hughie Nolan all remain in the running to claim the title for the second time but there is a lot of potential football experts left in the competition who will provide stern opposition to our previous champions.

We would like to wish all remaining 115 players the very best of luck in the remainder of the competition.

Also we would like to once again thank everyone who participated in our competition, your continuous supported is very much appreciated by everyone at the club.

Our subs were brought on to do more damage but Arklow town found their feet and put two past Calem who was unlucky not to save them. Game on.

But the fact that we have never beaten this team on their home turf made our lads dig deep and despite missing a penalty we went on to win the game 4-3 in a nail-biting finish to an excellent game of football.

Well done to Gavin on his hattrick and to Kyle on an excellent goal. Thanks to Arklow for a great game of football.
