BRAY BOWLS

Bray’s adventure in the Winter League came to an end last Saturday out in Skerries when they were beaten by Dun Laoghaire ‘A’ in the quarter-final.

The star-studded Dun Laoghaire team proved far too hot too handle for Bray for whom John Cheevers, Bernie Tracey and Frank Mc Loughlin tried their best to stem the tide.

Thanks to Brian Walshe and Sean Shortt for making the long journey to support the team and also to Michael Sullivan for travelling to Greenhills the previous week to cheer on the team.

All thoughts now turn to the Summer season and we hope all those bowlers who hibernated for the winter start to make their return and get some practice in. There are a number of friendlies organised for the coming weeks and further details will follow.
