Bright sparks win school quiz
THE bright young minds at Ballintemple National School had to bring their A-game recently, as the school held it’s annual table quiz.
Knowledge was king as the teams got down to it, answering questions on a wide range of subjects.
After an almighty clash of the quizmasters, the winners were Jenna Wolohan, Noah Sheehan, Orlaith Mulhall and Jamie Wolohan. Putting in a fantastic effort to take second were Darragh Kennedy, Kitty Sheehan and Emma Vanhoove.
Teachers and staff were delighted with all the pupils’ performances and, after such an almighty battle of wits, it was agreed they definitely earned their mid-term break, which began later that same day.
