GREYSTONES Toas tmasters Club’s next meeting will take place this Thursday, March 9, at the Glenview Hotel at 7.45 p.m. Visitors can go along free of charge to experience a Toastmaste­rs meeting. They can chat to members during the interval over tea and coffee.

This is a special week for the Greystones club as many of the members are achieving various recogni- tion awards, including Colin Byford who will get his Distinguis­hed Toastmaste­r award, the highest accolade from Toastmaste­rs Internatio­nal. They recently also enjoyed a ‘ Tall Tales’ competitio­n.

The first half of the evening will be a mini meeting, with prepared speeches and ad-hoc speaking. After the break they will recognise the achievemen­ts.
