ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADES!

-

BRAY THE PARADE on March 17 is just one of many events set to take place in Bray over the course of this year’s St Patrick’s Festival from March 16 to 19.

The parade starts at the Town Hall on St Patrick’s Day at 3 p.m., going down the Main Street and along Quinsboro Road before making its way to the seafront, with Bray Person of the Year Dermot O’Brien as Grand Marshall. Groups, organisations, musicians, dancers, bands and sports clubs are sure to be at the heart of another unforgettable parade. There will also be a St Patrick’s Eve free concert, as well as the Céilí breakfast, big fun day out and the Bray Head walk.

Road closures will be in place from 2 p.m. until after 5 p.m. on St Patrick’s Day. Birds Euroshow Funfair will be on from Thursday, March 16 until Sunday, March 19. There will be a free concert at the Holy Redeemer on Thursday, March 16, at 8.15 p.m. The event will include Comhaltas Bhré, Bray Ukuleles, Serendipity barbershop Choir, Chiéle Community Choir, Rustic Worship (Christ Church) plus many more.

The Bray Head Walk will take place from the scenic car park on Saturday and Sunday, 18 and 19, at 12 midday, with Bray Adventures.
