GREYSTONES CRICKET

Greystones Cricket Club is looking for a coach for the 2017 season to help with the development of this fast growing club.

They are looking for a suitable person to run a training schedule for the three men’s teams, ladies and under-13s as well as other duties.

This is a paid position dependant on experience with at least Level 2 coaching qualification and will involve two hour training sessions five nights a week, plus match days at their new grounds at Druids Glen.

For further information, or to submit CV, please email gordon@ fittr.ie. BRAY BOWLS It is now full steam ahead for the forthcoming season which starts after Easter. Last Saturday saw a large crowd down on the rink and it included a number of bowlers who had taken the winter off. From what I saw, the skills had not deserted them. Class is definitely permanent.

This Wednesday sees the last round of the Wednesday League and all the prizes will be presented at a function in the club that night. John Cheevers and John Reynolds are battling it out at the top of the leaderboard.

Thanks to Phyllis, Eddie and Marge for doing all the organising and to Brendan Duffy for making the new laminated rink cards.
