Wicklow Rovers AFC would like to thank all the kids from the under-8s, 9s, 10s, 11s and the senior ladies teams who came out in force to represent the club in the St Patrick’s Day parade. A big thanks goes to Robbie Dover, Mark Kennedy and the junior managers for organising everything.

Also thanks to Mandy and the senior ladies who entertained the watching crowd with some of their football skills on the street. Thanks to all the parents who came along to keep an eye on the kids, your support was very much appreciated.

Finally a massive thanks to Franny and Rosemary Copeland who bagged all the goodie bags and distributed them to the kids at the end of the parade. Once again thanks to everyone who got involved.

Everyone at Wicklow Rovers AFC would like to extend their sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Ann Fennelly (Shankill) who sadly passed away recently.

Her son-in-law John Frazer is our current club Chairman while her grandson Dylan plays for our 16As.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her daughters Jane and Diane, her brother Patrick, sons in law John and Cormac, her grandchildren Jack, Dylan, Ava, Cian, Sarah, Emma and her extended family and friends at this sad time. May she rest in peace.
