Easter General Vestries: As Easter this year is being celebrated in mid-April, it has been decided to hold these meetings in Powerscourt next Tuesday and in Kilbride the following Thursday. Both will take place at 8 p.m. All parishioners are strongly encouraged to come to these ‘parish a.g.m.s’ at which the Rector’s Churchwardens and Glebe wardens are announced; the People’s Churchwardens and Glebe wardens are elected and the members of the Select Vestry for the forthcoming year are also elected. They are also opportunities not just to hear what has happened or what we hope will happen in the coming year but also to make a real contribution to the running of the parish and to having a say in its outreach and ministry.

As you may be aware, Fr John Wall is celebrating his Golden Jubilee of Priestly Ordination this year, as well as his 75th birthday. I wish to let you know that Fr John will be retiring from active Ministry after Easter. Lenten Prayer Service: Every Wednesday till April 12 in St Mochonóg’s at 10 a.m. ‘Allowing parishioners and visitors a space for penitential reflection’, led by Parish Liturgy Group.
The Rosary: The Rosary is recited each morning (Monday to Saturday) at 10 a.m. (before Morning Mass and at 7 p.m. in the Prayer Room in St Mary’s on the first Monday of the month.
World Meeting of Families Collection: Will take place this weekend at all Masses and will replace the Share Collection.

The Enniskerry History Society is now on its Spring/summer recess and members are urged to supported local history societies in the area by attending their meetings.

The Easter holidays are just around the corner and the Schoolhouse for art is the perfect place to keep your kids busy during the School break. With two weeks of art camps for kids from ages five to 15 the Schoolhouse for art has you covered.
Week 1: Monday, April 10, till Thursday, April 13; Week 2: Tuesday, April 18, till Friday, April 21,. From 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. each day.
Our junior camps will cater for children ages five years to nine years. Each week will include making new friends, playing games and not to mention the making of many masterpieces to decorate the walls at home.
Our senior camp will cater for 10 years and over. Our senior camp tutor will have many projects to work on and the group will get to experiment in a wide range of mediums including paint, pencil, pastel and clay to name a few. Our camps are €100 per week. We also offer sibling/ cousin discount of €95 per week.

Do you want to Coach on our Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps 2017? Job Description: Coaches must be over 18 years old on the first day of the camp on July 3.
NOTE: Coaches must be a paid up member of their local GAA club. A Coaching Qualification, code of ethics, Garda Vetting and/or Coaching experience and/or evidence of voluntary coaching/work is mandatory in applying for this position. Closing Date for return of all Fully completed Coaches Application forms is Friday, April 7. All selected coaches will be paid a weekly wage and put through the revenue system in accordance with Croke Park regulations. You may include any further information in support of your application if necessary.
Late applications will not be accepted or considered and canvassing will disqualify. Selected candidates will be contacted directly on or before Friday, April 14, and given dates for mandatory two-day training prior to commencement of Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps 2017.

WESTPORT BREAK
There will be a Country music break to Westport from the 22nd to October 27 with day trips on some of the days. MEN’S SHED
The SHED is open at Pat Carr’s place in Knockraheen every Tuesday between 10 and 12. Do come along and you will be assured of a warm welcome. The improved weather conditions means that our virgin gardening will soon get under way. Feel free to come along and get involved in the healthy, therapeutic growing venture.
The final 121 lesson in the past series took place last Friday in Coláiste Chraobh Abhann, Kilcoole. A further series of lessons will be organised if there is sufficient interest. A 45 Card Game takes place every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre starting at 8 p.m. Tea served.
SET DANCING
Roundwood set dancing continues every Thursday night from 9 p.m. till 11 p.m. in Kavanagh’s Lounge, Roundwood. Music this month is CDs and we will have the O’Kane Family back playing for us again in March and then live music for the remainder of the year.
Admission remains at €5. Beginners are always welcome along with anyone looking for a bit of exercise and a fun night out. the jiving is finishing this week March 23 and then we’re back to starting set at 9 p.m.
