The concert is part of Cruinniú na Cásca, which is a Creative Ireland initiative.

The concert will feature solo and group pieces performed by a number of local young members of Comhaltas, including Rachel Duffy, a harpist and graduate of the Trinity College School of Music. Other performers include Molly Hayes on flute, Sarah Hayes on fiddle, Hannah Hayes on concertina, Sean Salley O’Toole on fiddle, Keira Salley O’Toole on whistle, Clare O’Toole on flute, Christiana Ahearne and Ruth O’Toole on fiddle.

As part of Cruinniú na Cásca, different events will be taking place in towns and villages throughout Ireland.
