AVONMORE FC

-

Arklow Town U-11s v. Avonmore U-11s Yellow: Avonmore U-11s Yellow once again travelled to Arklow Town this morning to take on a strong Arklow side.

The meeting of these two teams always produced great football and today was no exception.

It was end to end stuff for the first half with Avonmore unlucky not to score. Half time saw the teams at nil all, but Mark O’Reilly soon stuck the ball in the back of the net soon after the second half started when Arklow failed to clear their lines. They quickly equalized however and once again it was game on.

It was looking like this game was heading for a draw but once again Mark found himself in a shooting position and buried the ball in the top corner. A great result after a hard battle, well done lads. Thanks to Arklow for a great game of football.

Wofe Tone U-15s v. Avonmore U-15s: Wolfe Tone 4 ,Avonmore 2: Semi final of cup second leg. Disappointing to lose the game but we go through 6-4 on aggregate, so we have to be positive. great to be in final to go with Shield final as well. Kelan Busher and Alex Olohan scored the goals with Cody Reid, Drew Murray and Cian Ward deserving of a special mention. Well done lads.

Avonmore U-16s v. Wicklow Rovers B U-16s: In the first round of the semi final of the cup Avonmore ran out comprehensive winners on a scoreline of 8-0. Well done lads.
