Poor box donation

AN Arklow man found in the unlawful possession of drugs must pat €650 to the court poor box to avoid a conviction.

Jake Byrne of 19 Chestnut Grove appeared before the court in relation to a charge at Condren’s Lane on May 26, 2016.

The court heard that a favourable probation report was handed in and on that basis the defendant was permitted to make the donation.
