On his walk from Letterfrack to Kylemore, the Dubliner encounters a couple of joggers as he tackles the climb to the top of Diamond Hill and he also explores a graveyard in an industrial school, but a visit to Kylemore Abbey and its six-acre Victorian walled garden proves an altogether cheerier experience.
