Cliff walk open during refurbishment work

Refurbishment works are underway at the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk.

A spokesman for Bray Municipal District confirmed this week that the works will take approximately 10 to 12 weeks and the cliff walk will remain open. Users of the trail may encounter delays. The use of the trail by many thousands of walkers, as well as weather erosion, has caused the quality of the treadway to deteriorate which is why refurbishment is required. Wicklow County Council has employed Roundwood Timber Ltd to resurface and improve the tread-way, construct steps, install water management, and repair walls and fences.
