Poison stolen in burglary
A POISONOUS substance was taken from premises in Enniskerry during a burglary last Friday evening.
The bottles of ‘Dolethal pentobarbital’ were in a Land Rover which was taken from the scene.
Gardai have warned the public that this is a toxic substance and not for human consumption.
The produce was in 4 x 100ml clear glass bottles containing a red fluid with the brand name ‘Dolethal’.
Gardaí and the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) are very anxious that this item is recovered. If anyone has consumed the substance they should seek medical assistance.
GARDAI in Bray area appealing for any information in relation to a burglary where a very poisonous substance was taken.
The burglary occurred at a premises in Enniskerry last Friday evening, April 28th, between the times of 6.30pm and 7.40pm.
A number of items, including a black Land Rover Discovery, which contained the very poisonous substance, Dolethal, which is not intended for human consumption, were taken in the burglary. The product was in 4 x 100ml clear glass bottles containing a red fluid with the brand name ‘Dolethal.’
Gardai in Bray and the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) are extremely anxious that this item is recovered and are appealing for anyone who may have any information or know the whereabouts of this poison to contact the gardai in Bray on 01-665800, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
If anyone has consumed this product, they should seek immediate medical assistance. They are also advised to contact the National Poisons Information Centre at Beaumont Hospital on 01-837 9966.
