Firemen clean cars

Members of Greystones Fire Brigade rolled up their sleeves recently to wash the cars of the community all in the name of a good cause.

This was the charity car wash at the harbour, in aid of the RNLI.

Firemen, including Ciaran Hayden, Keith Clancy, Stephen Wade, Brian Galli- gan, Alan Monahan, Ferghal Murphy and Ray Salmon (pictured), had the cars of the people of Greystones gleaming and raised some money for much-needed lifeboats.

Money raised on the day will be donated to the Wicklow branch of the royal National Lifeboat Institution.
