Nomads are out on their own in All-Ireland league

NOMADS, representi­ng Leinster, have won the All-Ireland Inter League at Grade H in Whitehall Road, Terenure last weekend.

They recorded a 5-2 win over Connacht (Claddaghdu­ff) in the morning to set up a winner takes all match against Munster (St Mary’s Dunmanway).

They beat Munster in a hard fought match 5-1 to take the coveted title. In all the team won 14 matches to claim the ultimate prize.

Nomads Badminton is based in Loreto Sports Hall, Vevay Road, Bray and participat­es in both the Dublin and Wicklow Leagues.

Their Summer Club is commencing on May 30 (8.30pm to 10.30pm) and all are welcome.
