NEWTOWN

-

Newtown seniors took on Coolkenno last week and had a disappointing loss considering the amount of possession and shots on goal. They take on Kilmac this coming Friday in the league, please check fixtures for venue and throw in time.

So after all the dust has settled, the lads heads are a little less sore from the punches while the crowds heads are a little less sore from the drink!

Each of the fighters would like to thank every person who turned up on the night in the Parkview Hotel to support them; the atmosphere created by you all was amazing.

We also want to thank all the sponsors from the Parkview Hotel and their staff who were amazing from the day we booked right up to the event itself.

Our ring sponsor @AppliancesDelivered.ie, our trainers at Swiftkick Martial Arts Academy, our amazing print specialist Snap Print Dun Laoghaire, our amazing compère for the night Ernie Gallagher, each fighters sponsor and all the companies who took out an advertisement in our official programme. We hope you all had fun and hope to see you at our next event #punchupinthepark.

Newtown’s popular junior Magpie’s nursery program has returned every Saturday at 10am on the pitch, an hour’s fun and excitement is guaranteed each week for 4-8-year-olds. If you need more info please give Barry a buzz at 086 8390507.
