Woman was too late trying to pay fine

A WOMAN who was driving at 72km per hour in a 50km/h zone was fined at Bray District Court last Thursday.

Angelina Elizabeth O’Dwyer (59), 90 Olcovar, Shankill, was driving on November 5, 2016, on the Dublin Road at Woodbrook.

She explained to judge David Kennedy that her elderly mother had been very unwell. She completely forgot to pay the fine, and tried to pay when it was too late.

Judge Kennedy said that he still had to impose a fine of €80 for the speeding.
