Car overturns in crash
A car flipped over on its roof on Monday evening, after hitting a parked car in Redford Park.
The collision occurred at around 6.30 p.m. at the entrance to the estate in Greystones.
The driver of the moving car was treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries. He was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Two units of Greystones Fire Brigade attended the scene. Both vehicles were badly damaged in the crash. The area was closed off for a time as the emergency services worked. Both vehicles were towed away. During the road closure there was a build-up of traffic.
