Well done to Robert, Jamie, and Justin who joined the Wicklow GCA Garden Academy under-13 squad on Saturday in Ballinaklill. This program is going on for 11 weeks and will include skills coaching, skills tests, game based coaching and all players will have a chance to play for Wicklow in three games against a Leinster opposition. Great opportunity for our under-13 boys.

Well done to our Senior men who drew against St Pat’s on Saturday night.

Hard luck to the Wicklow under-16 boys who lost to Kildare by one point today in a great game. Wicklow were captained by Sean Doody from midfield and Baltinglass also supplied Christopher Grimes at corner-back, giving a man of the match display, and Johnny Keogh at center-forward. Alan Barrett also came on early in the second half. Sean, Johnny and Alan all got on the score board for Wicklow. Well done, lads.

Well done to our girls Ciara Jeaney, Cadhla Moran, Emma Lawler, Lauren Gill, Naomi Hunter & Rachel Bolger who attended the Wicklow under-12 Girls Development Panel trials today. All girls will continue to train with the development panel for the next six weeks.

If you have a little boy or girl who loves been out and about with a football, Academy training for 4 to 6 year olds takes place every Thursday 6-7pm, great fun and games for boys and girls, all welcome.
