Rovers finish on high with six of the best

DIVISION 3 champions Ashford Rovers finished the season on a high, coming out on top against Conary United in a goal-fest.

The league’s top dogs ran out 6-4 winners, with Chris Sillery netting a hat-trick to bring his tally to 18 for the season.

Paul Duffy bagged a double to register his 13th and 14th goals of the campaign, with Shane Farrell grabbing their other goal.

Ashford Rovers had a storming finish to the season, taking 22 points from a possible 24 on the run-in to deservedly capture the crown.
