BRAY BOWLS

-

Another busy week on the bowling front.

Monday saw our Division 4 team take home five points from Leinster where Brian Dodd and Bob Neilson led from the front.

On Tuesday Division 1 were away to Aer Lingus where they experienced a tough night where nothing took off for them!!

Division 2 were at home to Skerries and got one point courtesy of Eddie Morley’s rink. Wednesday saw the Ladies at home to Skerries and they were victorious by 6 points to 1.

All three Vets teams were in action on Thursday with Vets 1 having no luck in Terenure against CYM. Both Vets 2 and 3 were on their home patch and Vets 2 took all four points on offer against Westmanstown where Colm Heaslip was outstanding. Vets 3 banked three points against Dun Laoghaire. Saturday saw our Ladies away to Greystones where the locals proved too strong. Division 1 played at home to Crumlin and took 1.5 points. Division 2 made the trip to Lucan to play Westmanstown and nothing fell their way.

Monday sees Division 4 at home to CYM. On Wednesday Ladies Division 1 are away in Rathmines against Leinster and our Division 6 team have a free day. Thursday sees the 3 Vets teams back in action with Vets 1 at home to Westmanstown, Vets 2 away to the leaders Greenhills and Vets 3 travelling to neighbours Greystones. Saturday is a free day on the gents side as the inter association series is taking place in Crumlin/CYM. Our ladies team is in action at home to Crumlin. Next Tuesday sees Division 1 away to St. James Gate and Division 2 at home to the same opposition. Finally well done to Frankie Byrne on winning the club lotto this week.
