Sofia Bury exhibition

ARTIST Sofia Bury will host an art exhibition at Arklow Gallery next month.

The exhibition will run from June 6 to June 23 and the official opening takes place on Tuesday, June 6 at 6 p.m.

Sofia is an abstract artist living in Ashford.

Her paintings are largely colourful, and she uses the power of symbols in her work. The sun is a benign symbol, watching down on mankind below. The moon with its air of feminine mystery, speaks of a more divine approach. Sofia neither sketches nor takes photographs, but paints directly to canvas, which allows her to express her intuitive thoughts and feelings.

All are welcome to the official opening on June 6 between 6pm and 8 p.m.
