HERO FOR CELTIC

for Arklow side after fierce battle with Avonmore FC

-

Celtic had the ball in the back of the net in the second half when Edwin Walker picked out John Kearns in the corner and Kearns’ low cross was turned in by Lee Doyle but offside was called.

Werder was introduced after 15 minutes and things started to turn for Celtic. Both teams rang the changes and with time running out it was going to take something special. There’s the cross, there’s Lee Doyle, there’s the goal, there’s victory. Days like these are special.
