Great day out at the art and Handwriting finals in Dunlavin last Sunday with gold medals for Sarah Downes Shelby Richardson and George Doyle in the Handwriting and Rhyan Moules in the art. Silver medals to Áine Moran, Isabelle Doyle and Eoghan Murphy in Handwriting and bronze to Saoirse Edwards in art. Well done to all and thank you for the support of your parents and schools. Gold medal winners go on to represent county Wicklow at the National Festival in August in Abbotstown.
The athletic finals takes place in Shillelagh next Saturday meeting for parade at 9.30 with track events beginning shortly after. Please being plenty of water suncream and hats. Please wear dark shorts and white t shirt and make yourself known to one of the coaches to get a singlet and label. It’s a great day out so mammy and daddy’s bring a picnic too.
BENEFIT CABARET
A benefit cabaret will be held in Lawless’ Hotel on Saturday, June 17, Your support will be very much appreciated. Doors open at 8.30. There will be three live bands and a DJ and there will be valuable prizes for the first 200 ticket holders.
GAA LOTTO
results for May 29: no jackpot winner; numbers drawn were 1, 17, 18 and 23. No match-three winners. Jackpot stands at €5,650. Draw held in Saltee on Monday night.
