If you don’t like sport but are a loyal RTÉ viewer then perhaps taking the dog for a walk on Sunday afternoon would be the best solution to the schedule. On RTE One, there is a double header of live football in the championship as neighbours Monaghan and Cavan meet in Ulster followed by Mayo and Galway in the west.

Meanwhile over on RTE Two, the Republic of Ireland host Austria in the Group D of their qualifying campaign in the Aviva Stadium, as Martin O’Neill’s men look to continue their strong start to the campaign.
