Public realm projects

There is an estimated €66,750 left in the district public realm budget and members have agreed to complete projects already decided before allocating further funding.

€50,000 is earmarked for Mill Lane surfacing and ducting works, and € 10,000 for the surfacing of Bow Lane to Eden Road.

And estimated € 20,000 has been allocated to footpaths in Seamount Drive, Newcastle.

€ 10,000 will go to the R761 Newcastle Road crossing at the school, and € 2,000 for the renovation of St Crispin’s Church. € 10,000 was allocated to Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

The total budget is € 168,750, with an estimated € 102,000 allocated.

Elsewhere, € 1,000 has been allocated to Wicklow Volunteer Centre, and € 300 to a campaign against dog fouling, as well as € 2,600 towards the St Patrick’s Day Parade.
