This year’s Active Retirement Ireland (ARI) Eastern Region South Marigold Festival will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre on Thursday, June 15 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). THE WICKLOW MAN
Wicklow Man (David Bury 087 2723962) is on every Tuesday night in the Brockagh Centre at the new time of 9 p.m. for a few hours of dancing and socialising. There will be no dance on June 27.
COMMUNITY ARCHAEOLOGY
Tuesday August 8 – Friday, August 18: Volunteers are welcome to participate in the excavation. Saturday, August 12: Excavation for 13- to 17-year-olds (if accompanied by adults: tbc). Saturday, August 19: ‘Big Dig’ for children 12 years, open day at exacavation. Saturday the 26th: ‘Food and Resources in the Past’: open day at excavations with family activities exploring use of natural resources in the past. Monday the 21st – Friday, August 25: Daily tours of the excavations; Graveyard Survey and Graveyard Tours; Art and Atmosphere exhibition.

TAI CHI/QIGONG
The end of this term is June 20 with a new block of classes starting on July 11. BASKET-MAKING
This full day, traditional basket-making workshop will teach you basic basketry techniques. Taught in a relaxed learning environment, you will bring home your own completed small round willow basket (a skib). The workshops will take place in the Brockagh Centre from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 24, July 16 and August 8. Classes are small with five participants. Garden workshop also available on request. TINY FEET
Our new pre-school is now open in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. Sessional and part-time childcare places available, opening times are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The Mindcraft workshop provides an introduction to Mindfulness Through Creativity where you can reacquaint the adult you with the creative you.
