Thieves are intercepted at Sally Gap following breakin

Gardai from Bray foiled burglars who had made off from a house in Kilmacanogue last Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at around 10 a.m. at Ballybawn Cottages. The occupant of the house was in his back garden. Three suspects gained access to the house and locked the back door.

A neighbour saw what happened and raised the alarm. Gardai stopped the car in the Sally Gap area and caught the men as they tried to make their escape. The route would otherwise have been quiet, but gardai were already in the area investigating another matter.
