Kilmacanogue plan approved
The proposed development of 20 houses in Kilmacanogue was agreed without discussion at last week’s meeting of Wicklow County Council.
The members were considering a report, done in accordance with Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations, in respect of the proposed development of 20 houses and a new pedestrian entry to Kilmacanogue National School, Sugarloaf Drive, Kilmacanogue. The report was proposed by Cllr Christopher Fox and seconded by Cllr Joe Behan.
Cllr Fox said there had already been a discussion on the proposed development at Bray Municipal District level.
A vote on the report was then held with Cllr Tommy Cullen from Baltinglass saying he would abstain because he didn’t know enough about the development. However, just moments later he asked if the houses were council houses and changed his vote to being in favour of the development. All the rest of the members present for the vote were also in favour.
