Pallets at Oldcourt removed

THERE was concern in Oldcourt recently at a buildup of pallets adjacent to Oldcourt Grove.

Cllr Joe Behan welcomed progress having begun again on the energy efficiency scheme at Oldcourt. ‘I want to raise an issue of concern to people in the area,’ he said.

‘ There was a massive buildup of pallets over the last few days. These have attracted a lot of anti social behaviour. In the past they were set on fire and the fire spread to property in Oldcourt Grove.

‘I know staff are aware of this, can I ask officials to see what can be done? I thought they would be moved today. People are very distressed.’

The pallets were moved the following day.
