Licence signed for gaol

A NEW licence agreement has been signed by Wicklow County Council for the management and operation of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol.

After a lengthy procurement, tendering and evaluation process, the successful licencee is Wicklow Enterprise Park (Gaol) Ltd. Under the new agreement, the council will work closely with gaol management to promote it as a world class tourist facility.

Bryan Doyle, Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council, extended his congratulations to the licencee and wished them many years of success.
