GP service being sought

MEMBERS of Bray Municipal District agreed to write to the Minister for Health Simon Harris regarding an after-hours GP service.

Cllr Michael O’Connor raised the matter in Any Other Business. ‘ The plans were announced in October and the Minister said this was an area of great concern which needed to be addressed,’ said Cllr O’Connor. ‘North Wicklow remains without service. I propose we write to the Minister and urge him to provide this service, especially in light of the downgrade of Loughlinstown. It’s a bit of a hike to St Vincent’s.
