Another classic event for car enthusiasts

-

THE Glenview Hotel drew car enthusiasts from far and wide eager to see all the entries in the 63rd veteran, vintage and classic car rally.

Organised by the Leinster Motor Club, the rally is open to call cars up to 1991. A special emphasis was placed on modern classics up to 1991 so as to reach out to the next generation of enthusiasts.

The rally started at ‘ The Goat’ on the Taney Road in Dublin, with participants heading toward Wicklow and driving through the Garden County for close to 60 miles. They stopped off at Avondale house near Rathdrum, where some competitors also brought along their own picnics.

They then headed on towards the Glenview Hotel, where the finish and prize giving ceremony took place, offering lovers of vintage vehicles to have a gander at all the different models on display.
