Plenty of thrills and spills at second Ballinaclash festival
THE village of Ballinaclash played host to the second annual Clash Fest, which ran from Friday to Sunday, June 23 to 25.
The family festival featured a packed line-up, with live music performed over all three nights in the Fest Marquee.
An historical walk around Ballinaclash took place on the Saturday, with those interested meeting outside Phelan’s at 3 p.m..
Youngsters brought along their favourite teddy or stuffed toy to a Teddy Bears Picnic, while other older children were treated to in a Kids Fancy Dress Disco.
The highlight of the weekend was an action-packed family sports day which took place on the Sunday. Events included Boxercise, a wheelbarrow race and tug-o-war.
A barbecue, bouncy castles and water slide were up and running during Saturday and Sunday, A hay rolling race proved popular, while a 5k road race was also held.
Other attractions included a ClashFactor Talent Show, puppet and magic shows, numerous competitions and an inflatable obstacle course.
