VOCAL WORKSHOP

HAPPY DAYS

Has had a busy and exciting few months with a whole range of activities including arts and crafts, play dough, shaving foam messy play, songs, stories and of course lots of fun and play. Happy Days is going to continue on throughout July with the last day being July 26.

We will then take a break for the month of August and will be back in September with a whole new range of other activities and fun.

If you would like to come along and enjoy Happy Days with us for the next few weeks we are here in the Brockagh Centre every Wednesday morning 10.30.midday the toys are always out and the kettle is always on.

SUMMER YOGA CLASSES

Viva’s yoga classes for beginners to advance is finished now till Sept. You can contact Viva at 086 3409629 for more informatio­n. Louise will still be running her classes on Thursday mornings, starting with floor yoga at 10 a.m. and chair yoga at 11.30 a.m., both classes continue in July, with a break for the month of Aug.

ADULT GUIDANCE

Adult Career Guidance Service is available at the Brockagh Centre. This careers/education service is free, friendly, confidenti­al, supportive and available to all adults over 18 years of age.

TAI CHI/QIGONG

The end of this term is June 20 with a new block of classes starting on July 11. Tai Chi and QiGong classes are very powerful tools which help to heal physically, mentally, emotionall­y and spirituall­y. BASKET-MAKING

This full day, traditiona­l basket-making workshop will teach you basic basketry techniques. Taught in a relaxed learning environmen­t, you will bring home your own completed small round willow basket (a skib). The workshops will take place in the Brockagh Centre from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 16 and August 8. Classes are small with five participan­ts. Garden workshop also available on request. A new term for Teens and adults will be starting July 4 Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence has Benefits include improving confidence, respect, discipline, awareness, concentrat­ion, channeling aggression, balance, coordinati­on, speed, reactions, fitness and health.
