GOLF CLASSIC

The winners of the Bomar Ltd. and the Joe Moran Perpetual Trophies was Bomar team beating Séamus Hatton’s team with a score of 56.4 against 61.6.

Thanks to the eight teams who took part and Druids Heath Golf Club for the use of the course. Also thanks to Mary Byrne of Bomar Ltd for the prizes, Freddie Hamilton for the water and bars, Billy and Nicky of the Village Market for the fruit.

Thanks to Arklow, Baltinglas­s, Coollattin, Delgany, Glen Mill, Greystones, Powerscour­t and the European Club golf courses for their donation of green fees which meant a prize for each team. Also thanks to Tom Quigley the starter. Looking forward to seeing everybody next year. Thanks for your previous and continued support which is gratefully appreciate­d.

LITTLE TERN PARK

The park reopened on June 23 and Wicklow County Council installed bollards outside the park to prevent illegal and dangerous parking. Please be advised that parking on the roundabout is strictly forbidden and offenders will be reported to the Gardaí. Please also refrain from parking in nearby housing estates and use parking spaces on Sea Road, or the car park on the Main Street, which is free for up to an hour.

PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

All are welcome to come along to the parent and toddler group at the Community Centre from 10.30 p.m. to midday every Wednesday. €2 per child.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

BINGO

Bingo is held on Monday nights in St Patrick’s Hall at 8 p.m. Everybody is welcome.
