A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD RTE ONE, WEDNESDAY 9.35PM DUNDALK native John Moore takes on the Die Hard franchise with this story which sees John McClane travel to Russia to help out his seemingly wayward son, Jack, only to discover that Jack is a CIA operative working undercover, causing the father and son to team up against underworld forces. Stars Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney, with Budapest doubling up as Russia.

IF you missed this four part legal drama first time round, this is your chance to catch up with Amy Huberman, who plays Tara, a solicitor out for revenge after discoverin­g on her hen night her colleague and fiancé were cheating on her. She uses the money she had saved for her wedding to set up a new practice. Watch out for lots of familiar faces.

WIMBLEDON 2017 BBC ONE, BBC TWO, VARIOUS TIMES IT’S time to break out the strawberri­es and cream, as live coverage continues from the All England Club, known to most of us as Wimbledon. This iconic tournament is one of four grand slams and generates drama off court as well with John McEnroe ruffled feathers when he tweeted that Serena Williams would be ranked ‘ like 700 in the world’ if she played the men’s circuit.

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? BBC ONE, THURSDAY, 9PM A new series of this popular genealogy documentar­y gets underway as actor Charles Dance seeks to discover his family history. Well known for playing members of the aristocrac­y, this programme sees him searching to discover if his ancestors came from ‘downstairs’, as his mother’s job as parlour maid would suggest, or if there were posher ‘upstairs’ branches to his family tree.
