Mighty Wings food fest

-

The Mighty Wings Food Fest returns to Bray Seafront on Saturday and Sunday July 15 and 15 with the mightiest, hottest, finger lickin’ chicken wings on the east coast.

New for this year are 4 pop-up wing shops where you can taste the favours from Mexico, the USA and more. They are delighted to introduce a BBQ Pit area where you can watch as professional pit masters carry out BBQ demos with some seriously delicious meats.

Visitors will get a chance to spin themselves some free wings at the WingARoo ‘Spin a Wing’ wheel and those with a competitive streak will have the chance to eat seriously hot wings or eat as many wings as they can in 3 minutes. Registration is at wingsfoodfest.com.

Again this year they are on the hunt to crown the best wings in Bray. 12 bars and restaurants are currently competing in the ‘Wing Off’ as the public vote the top 4 into the final on Sunday, July 16.

You can vote now via wingsfoodfest. com.

The fun begins at 10 a.m. daily and in addition to a weekend of great wings, they’ve got an awesome lineup which includes over 20 street food and craft markets, street theatre, live music and East Coast FM’s Mick Duggan will be spinning top 80’s tunes.

Bray’s Wing Food Fest has got something for all ages so bring the whole family.

Wendy Walsh from Wings Food Fest said ‘The Wing Fest is a must for chicken wing lovers, we have some delicious wings, great demos and music lined up for you to enjoy! All we need is the sun to make an appearance.’
